Why ZTS?

We exist for one reason: to equip faithful ministers of the Word for the sake of the global church.

There is no shortage of theological institutions in the world. So why ZTS? Because we believe that rigorous biblical education, multilingual access, and genuine mentorship — offered entirely free of cost — can change the trajectory of ministry around the world. At Zion Theological Seminary, everything we do is built on one foundation: the Word of God.

Scripture at the Center of Everything

Foundation

Scripture at the Center of Everything

At ZTS, the Bible is not merely a textbook — it is the living, inerrant Word of God that shapes every course, every conversation, and every conviction we hold. Our curriculum is designed not to produce academics who know about Scripture, but ministers who know Scripture — who can rightly divide the Word of truth and faithfully proclaim it in any context.

From our foundational courses in Biblical Truths and Biblical Foundations to advanced study in New Testament Exegesis and Contemporary Theology, every program traces its roots back to the authority and sufficiency of God's Word.

Global Reach

A Seminary Without Borders

The church of Jesus Christ spans every nation, culture, and language — and ZTS is built to serve it. We offer all programs fully in English, Spanish, and French, because we believe language should never be a barrier to sound theological training.

Our students come from across the Americas, Africa, Europe, and beyond. They study in the language they think, preach, and pray in — and they graduate equipped to serve the communities God has called them to reach. At ZTS, global is not an aspiration. It is who we are.

Free for All Who Are Called

Access

Free for All Who Are Called

In alignment with our belief that the Word of God must be freely received, we affirm that this seminary exists for all who are hungry for God and His truth.

We provide access through scholarships that may cover part or all of the educational expenses, ensuring that no sincere seeker of God is excluded due to lack of resources. This reflects the heart of Isaiah 55, where all are invited to come and receive freely.

Mission

The Free Gift of the Word and Ministry

We firmly believe that the Word of God and the message of salvation must remain freely given, without cost or commercial exchange. The grace of God cannot be bought, sold, or monetized, for it is a gift freely given by His mercy.

We reject the commercialization of the Gospel and affirm that truth is not a product but a divine calling to serve, to give, and to build up the Body of Christ without charge.
